Anti-Black Racism (ABR-2024)

Description
The KOJO Institute Anti-Black Racism training equips companies and their staff to understand what anti-
Black racism is, how it manifests in society at large and within organizations, and the frameworks and
actions required to disrupt it.

Participants can expect to:
- Understand the key features of anti-Black racism and its ongoing global impact on Black people
- Recognize and confront the anti-African sentiments that contribute to anti-Blackness
- Identify the systems that maintain white supremacy and the subordination of Black people and
culture
- Understand how to use the framework of intersectionality to address anti-Black racism
- Discover meaningful actions they can take to be an accomplice in disrupting anti-Black racism

The Anti-Black Racism training includes 6 self-paced audio-visual modules and a 68-page reflection
journal designed to deepen participants’ learning experience. Each module is approximately 30 minutes
in duration, for a total course time of 3 hours. Participants should also allow additional time to complete
the activities in the reflection journal. The course will remain available to all participants for 60 days
from the registration date.
